Claire’s Intrepid Cadet Rookie Sportsman
Claire has been practicing in her new Rookie Sportsman Cadet Kart. It is a 2006 Intrepid “Maky”. In size it is half way between a Kid Kart and a Adult Kart. It has a Yamaha KT-100 motor prepared by P1 of California. The chassis was previously used by Sean Conyers to win two championships.
Claire decided to skip the on race in January and spend the month practicing. I felt that was a good idea because there is a lot of learning for both of us to do with the new chassis.
She was planing on making the February 8th race her first in the Cadet Kart. The race was rained out.
Her first Cadet race will be February 22nd.
